My dad grew up on welfare in a small town in the mountains of North Carolina. He had every excuse to carry on said legacy for his future family. However, he joined the military, attended law school at night while working a full time job, and eventually opened his own law practice. He was determined to rewrite the future for the next generation of Palmer’s. My dad was the first example I had for what it looks like to create goals and build a life you desire for yourself and family.
